Just a few things that have been happening around my house for the past two days. I really am a terrifically bad painter but I am utterly okay with that. I wouldn't want to spend enormous amounts of time doing a fantastic job on a wall that the kids are going to put a scuff in before the end of the day. In truth, I like things to look a little weathered, a little imperfect. Keeps the expectations lower and the stress off. If I started taking the way things look around here a little bit too seriously I'd be off to the crazy farm before the end of the week.
I hear you on that! I just repainted a desk, and after starting over (cause the paint was just scratching off), I finally just painted it and called it good. I'm probably going to splatter paint and what not on it anyway.
