power jammer

Last night I came home late from refereeing a game to this guy sitting at my kitchen table:

This is what The Man and the kids get up to when I'm away.

He's very cool.  And very big.  I need to find the book that tells me how to live with my children's life size arts and crafts in a very small house.  I was thinking I could maybe mount him on the wall for a little bit and when the weather gets warmer he could go outside and live by the cardboard hotel already in the yard.

  1. I love him! He is just gorgeous. He's put a huge smile on my face this morning. I don't know that I'll show the kids though, as we have a small house too, and it will give them big ideas...

  2. Priceless!!! Your kiddos look so happy. And, what a man! Cherish days like this. They will be only a memory in a moment. Take it from a momma whose kiddos are grown and husband is in heaven.

  3. I love your new house guest - admittedly, the fact that he would not be visiting my home influenced that opinion! Due to the clutter fairies that inundate my house, I cringe at even the tiny pipe-cleaner sculptures that came home from school last week. (I'm truly sentimental, but my eldest at 5 years old has hoarding tendencies!)

Thanks also to Suzi for reminding me that I really ought to keep it all in perspective!

  4. Very awesome! My guys like to build robots, too, but haven't thought of life size. I'm not telling them.
