Coraline's stars

This kid kills me.

Girl child wore her Coraline costume to her vocal class on Halloween day.  The stars are painted with glow in the dark puffy paint you see.  The other students kept cupping their hands over her sweater and peeking through their fingers trying to see the stars glow.   Girl child finally grew tired of having children attached to her and when the instructor left the room, she walked to the door and turned off the lights.

"There.  Feast your eyes!"

  1. What have you done! I was reading this while Miss7 was peeking over my shoulder (as she usually does) and guess what? I've now got to go hunt down glow in the dark paint lol.
    Thanks for the idea.

  2. "Feast your eyes!"

So awesome! Glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read that as I would have snorted it out of my nose :0)

Love her flair and the sweater is super cute!

  3. Awesome! Violet also went as Coraline for Halloween. We opted for the rain coat and galoshes look, which was a good thing considering the wind and sideways rain we had on Beggar's Night.

  4. Coraline is one of my favourite movies, and I love the awesome jumper! I have to admit, I giggled a lot at "Feast your eyes!"

  5. Love the costume, was thinking of going as Coraline next year - think I might do the sweater under the rain coat idea, but glow in the dark would be so fun if I am teaching on Halloween;) Now off to go find the peasant blouse tute for the hundredth time. Going to adapt it to journey girl size.
