Tonight girl child shared with me her list of names for her future children.
"Beatrice, Sunny, Violet, Klaus, and Merryweather."
I said, "That's FIVE babies!"
"Oh, yes," girl child replied, "And Jacob."
Hmm. Six now.
"Canis is a good name for a boy too, I think. As long as he doesn't turn into the big bad wolf."
That's seven. The young are ambitious.
I know where the first five names came from and the last as well (gold star to any reader here who also knows) but Jacob? I asked girl child where Jacob came from.
"It just sounds nice."
Random name. Who would of guessed? I say, "I would of guessed that you'd name one of your children 'Wednesday'."
"Oh no," she says, "I'd be too jealous."
LOVE her choices! Looks like she made Pippi in the tray. Maybe 8 children?

ReplyDeleteI really like those names. My son used to want to call his children Merlock, chick-chick and put-put! He ended up calling the apple tree put-put instead. x
