Oh, good, I knew you'd remember. Yes, I think she's pretty neat too. My kids really love her kimono shoes.
Okay, now look at these:
I know! Darling, right?!
Want to win a pair?
No, not the pattern (though you can find that here). I meant, would you like to win the actual shoes?
Yes? Yes!
Of course you do! These wee linen loafers come in sizes 0 to 24 months. They are made by Garden Alley, which is really Lena, who creates them by hand from pattern to final button with almost all natural materials (there is a layer of thick poly needle felt to keep the feet warm against cool surfaces). I think they're beautiful and love the wooden buttons.
What's that? Just tell you how to get these gorgeous loafers onto your sweet baby's feet?
Alright, settle down.

Thank you to everyone to played along and a double thank you to Lena and Garden Alley!
Oh please... will you count me in? They are really gorgeous! An I think it is a great way for me and my little princess (2 months old) to discover the greatness of natural materials.

loving these. My babes are all too big, but I do have a sweet new niece I'm going to visit next month! & I do love you, too! You are such a nice blend of romance and reality!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I would love to be randomly chosen to win these, as my sister is expecting her first daughter this August. How fun to be able to put such sweet covers on such sweet feet. (And you really need to know how much I love your site too. You created a craft/sewing-blog monster.)
ReplyDeleteI've just bought a pattern from Lena's at Etsy. I found her through Sew mama sew, and through Lena I've found you. I love all her patterns, so, of course, I would love to win the shoes. I have a lovely girl turning two this week!. I will follow your blog from now on.
ReplyDeleteThanks
I love baby shoes. So unnecessary but so fun.
ReplyDeleteThese are darling! I just might have to buy this pattern.
tfs
I love them so much I bought the pattern (in my size). If I won the shoes, I would give them to my massage therapist's daughter's son, who is about to be born any minute.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love you, because you share your successes and fails, your confidence and your insecurity, and you make me feel as though if we give our children our love, our best effort, and our true selves, we will make it out the other side. Not unscathed, but still standing.
Those are so cute! They would go to a sweet baby who will be born soon.

Wow - these are fantastic! I just love them...I have to confess that today is the first time that I have looked at your blog but it just looks amazing and I am going to be a regular visitor from now on. I have a 10 month old with big feet...actually she is very tall (trying to grow into her feet). I am always on the lookout for cute shoes that don't look out of place on her and these are just the ticket! Thanks for sharing.
