cooperative art with crayons

Photobucket

We love crayons.  We use them every day but not always to colour stuff.

We like to mash them, peel them, break them, eat them, and, of course, melt them.

The fun thing about crayons is that when they heat up their colours become bolder, more vivid.

And when molten, wax can be pushed any which way, turned into glue, or sprayed across the room at your mother.

Another medium we love?  Chalk.  It's a little harder to melt chalk but we have a whole wall to play on now.

What's your children's favorite ways to make their mark on the world?
