Recently Smootch and Birdie received a surprise package in the mail. Inside were two wrapped gifts.
Smootch would like to say "Thank you," to Laura of Wave Kaia, "The dress is perrr-fect!"
And she knows because she tested for quality in all important aspects.
Smootch is very concerned with quality control. She takes her job seriously. And joyfully.
I try not to disturb her when testing. Even if she means I can't get a whole, still, picture of her.
And my photo shoot goes down the tube. Or, rather, up the tree.
Birdie also loves his cap, although he declined an opportunity to comment. See, it's hard to carry out a conversation about the merits of a lid when you are busy rocking out with tree prunings. I fancy he may grow to be a tester also. A cool tester.
But, hey, he is standing in one place while I take a photo! Well, he did for that nanosecond. At least he doesn't move as fast as the older one. And he stays on the ground most of the time.
Moaning about how much these children move around when I want them to stand still for a photo is my ongoing joke lately, but really, I don't mind. The more they are motion, the more clearly I can see them.
Thank you very much, Laura! We love the cap and the dress and the children wear them with pride. You do brilliant work and we feel grateful to have been graced with your generosity.
Charity, you are so welcome and very deserving since it was your very own blog that inspired me to start sewing in the first place. This is my way of thanking you for writing such an amazing blog that covers so much from sewing to crafting with kids to introspective thinking. I'm so glad that Smootch and Birdie like their new digs.
